Statement of fees and other costs

It is important to understand that the amount shown for “fees and other costs” is an estimate only for a member with a $50,000 balance. The measure will be a base-level tool for consumers to compare the level of fees and other costs between different MySuper products. Please refer to the Fees and other costs document published on our website for more information on fees and costs.
The presentation of this dashboard follows regulatory requirements. The following note may be useful.
On 1 November 2017 we implemented a new investment strategy for the MySuper product, replacing the previous default with four separate strategies depending on a member’s age. For members at age 52, the MySuper product’s strategy is a mix of 1/3 of the Growth Plus (MySuper) option (until 30 June 2021 known as the Aggressive (MySuper) option), and 2/3 of the Balanced Growth (MySuper) option (until 30 June 2021 known as the Balanced (MySuper) option). All information prior to this date relates to the Balanced (MySuper) option (now known as the Balanced Growth (MySuper) option), which was the previous default option within the MySuper product. From financial year 2018, the values for the average return targets over 10 financial years, the yearly returns and the average returns over 10 financial years are a blend of the relevant default options in place at that time. One- and 10-year returns are slightly different to what is shown elsewhere, as the dashboard returns must be calculated for a member with a $50,000 balance net of investment and administration fees, indirect costs and taxes.
