Equip and Catholic Super, two top-10, profit-for-member superannuation funds have joined forces as a joint venture entity. Governed by a new, skills-based board of 12 directors, the $26 billion venture will manage funds for 150,000 members. Five former CSF directors will serve under Togethr Pty Ltd, the trustee of both Catholic Super and Equip.
Andrew Fairley AM, LLB, FAICD
Chair of the Board / Independent Director
Andrew is the founding chair of Togethr, having served as Equip Chair for more than a decade. He has a long and distinguished association with the Australian Superannuation Industry. He commenced practice as a superannuation lawyer in 1980 and founded Australia’s first specialist superannuation law firm, IFS Fairley in 1993. He formed the Law Council of Australia Superannuation Committee in 1986 and remained its Chair for 10 years. He practices as a consultant to Hall & Wilcox lawyers in Melbourne. With a passion for the Australian tourism sector and nature-based tourism in particular, Andrew was Deputy Chairman of Tourism Australia until June 2017. Keenly involved in the philanthropic sector he is Chair of the Sir Andrew Fairley Foundation and the Foundation for Alcohol Research and Education. Andrew is Deputy Chair of the Mornington Peninsula Foundation and the Greater Shepparton Foundation.

Danny Casey, Deputy Board Chair, BComm, M. Econ., CPA
Deputy Chair of the Board / Independent Director
Danny joins the Togethr Board as the founding Deputy Chair with the merger of CSF and Equip. Prior to this role Danny was the CSF Board Chair for two years. Danny has extensive experience as a senior executive and management consultant with private and public sector organisations, as well as not for profits, in Australia and overseas. He has served on many boards and committees, including the Finance Council of the Archdiocese of Sydney, the Board of the University of Notre Dame Australia, the Catholic Cemeteries Board and the Catholic Development Fund. Danny’s professional career includes senior executive roles with Energy Australia, Ernst & Young, Lend Lease as well as leadership of a commercial law firm. As a management consultant and advisor, he has assisted businesses and not-for-profit organisations on strategy and governance. Danny is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of NSW and a Master of Economics from Macquarie University.
